International Programme

Marianne O’Kane Boal will deliver a children’s workshop in the Donegal Town library for local school children exploring sound in stories and its importance in storytelling.

Marianne will begin this workshop by exploring sounds and music in picture books through reading, discussion and reflection. This will be followed by a hands-on activity where children will use story cubes to create their own stories that consider sound as a way of reflecting emotions, wellbeing, atmosphere and rich storytelling.
